Value for money. Delicious soup base. Great service. Decent selection of fresh seafood and vegetables. They use quality fish egg balls which is a priority on my list. Wagyu beef is good. Sauces are great also. Unlimited drinks awesome. Been there twice and would go again.
The food quality and the hospitality was off its head. From the fresh food and quality of the meat was insane. The staff was heaps friendly and easy to deal with.WOULD RECOMMEND people to try there food.
I finally got around to trying the premium hot pot option at my local! Fitting, with the temperature dropping recently. It's hot pot season baby I first visited Hot Pot Palace last year. They do all you can eat hot pot at 42.80 a head and have a variety of different soup base options that, I feel, reflect the South East Asian heritage of many in the local Canley Heights/Cabramatta community. Think tom yum, tomato and mushroom, and pork bone soup. Next door is Hot Pot Palace Plus, the premium version at 62.80 a head. The difference is in what you're able to order. Along with the usual meats, vegetables and meat/fishballs you can pick out at the standard, you can also order cuts of wagyu beef, various shellfish (including sea snails and razor clams!), baby abalone and yabbies here too. There's also more soup base options like wagyu bone and herb, coconut chicken and I believe kimchi too.A good hot pot comes down to the soup base. I usually love Sichuan spice hot pot (which they do offer here) but I can never pass up the tom yum soup when visiting Hot Pot Palace. It's unique, and it's a nice balance of sweet and sour. There's a cool variety of dipping sauces here too. Again, some are inspired by South East Asian cuisine. Lemongrass, chilli and fish sauce dipping sauces for example. Is the premium upgrade a big deal? Personally, I don't find much difference when I eat hot pot with standard cuts of beef versus marbled wagyu beef. If you cook it just right, the beef is soft anyway! I also found myself eating more of the usual ingredients rather than the sea snails, clams and baby abalone. The abalone was the best part about the premium menu for me, but I reckon I'd be perfectly fine visiting the standard 42.80pp one in future. It's just as good, and it is really good value if you compare it to how much you're spending at other hot pot restaurants around Sydney. If you're going to go crazy on the shellfish and wagyu meat though, premium would definitely be the pick for you! Hot Pot Palace Plus, Canley Heights
Been here plenty of times and always consistently good and good service. Always recommend to all my friends.
This place was on the to-go list. It’s definitely worth the drive and price. Selections of food is really good and abundant, tasty and the staff and their services are extremely quick, helpful and impeccable; they’re also accommodating to people with food allergies. If you’re looking for a hotpot place, this is the one spot to go to!
I've been here several times, and it never disappoints! The seafood is always fresh, and the wagyu is top-quality. Flavorful broth, great service, and a fantastic dining experience every time!
